DESCRIPTION
CONYMET, presents a study to measure the geologic conditions
of a mine, this load cone' distribution and volume study shows 10
trucks Dresser of 240 tons (short), with the purpose' of obtaining
enough data about the real performance and behavior of the dump bodies,
their' fill coefficient and the average volume and tonnage transported.
The system used to achieve the proposed objectives, was that of
the Photometric multi - image,' this way a series of images of high
quality obtained by means of metric cameras are analyzed' (Rolleiflex
6006), located in alternative form with the picture objective. The
photo is revealed' and digitized, for later on to be guided low specialized
software CDW (Close Digital Range' Workstation) generating a cloud
of topographical points based on the system of coordinates' that
is required, being possible to trace also lines in their true dimension
and location in the' three-dimensional (3D) space, with precision's
that vary among 2 & 4mm by every obtained' point.
The big advantages that this system presents are its speed, the
non interruption of the productive' process and the high degree of
attainable information. For that Conymet decided to apply it' in
at least 10 trucks in operation and one in maintenance that would
serve as Dump Body' model (or base) when it change its aspect with
the deformations characteristic of the productive' process. This
Dump Body model (fig. N°1) it was lifted by means of the taking
of 10 pictures' entered an orientation model where each point that
is observed is transferred from a Conical' projection (like in the
picture) to a projection three-dimensional orthogonal, being obtained'
its model in scale 1:1.

Once calculated the size the interior of the Dump Body (tray),
it is assigned a particular and own system of coordinates, which
would serve as initial reference for all the other Dump Bodies in
operation, at the same time it proceeded to the properly calculation
such volumetric, assuming a closed box, it was divided in 5 sections
to the long thing in which it was defined their area and it is multiplied
the distance between section and section, discounting the corners
and portion of the line that it falls outside of the concept of the
cone SAE 2:1
The following work consisted on the photographic
taking of 10 trucks in operation, as it is appreciated in the figure
N°2, which were
tied to the system of coordinated previously obtained and in which
you proceeded to locate a cloud of representative points of the properly
such load with the intention of cubing it, that which one carries
out following the same method used for the volumetric calculate of
the Dump Body base (you cut halfway of the pile). It is necessary
to point out that the operation of taking photographic measurements
takes no longer than one hour for the entirety of the trucks.
